The billboard music awards are always fun to watch, from the ridiculous speeches (Justin Bieber) to the incredible performances!
This years awards had one performance that stood out (No not Nicki Minaj’s lap dance to Lil Wayne). Breakout artist Miguel had an energizing performance and may have gone over the top.
He tried to jump over a part of the crowd and didn’t quite make it. In fact, he landed on a fan…a fan’s head. After the performance the fan was taken backstage, given an ice pack, and a photo with Miguel.
Well now, the injured fan has been talking to a lawyer and may have suffered brain damage. She has seen a doctor and is waiting for test results to come back, and if they come back showing any evidence of brain injury, there will more than likely be a lawsuit filed against Miguel.
The producers of the Billboard Music Awards are also stepping forward telling TMZ, they did not approve of the crowd jump Miguel did. Miguel asked them before the performance if he could do the jump, producers said no, but Miguel did it anyway.
This all seems very bad for Miguel! Good luck on both sides!
