The Emmys! (rundown)

It’s the biggest night for television and all the best actors and actresses were there. Neil Patrick Harris hosted the show and there were some pretty great cameos, performances and speeches from Will Ferrell to Carrie Underwood to Kevin Spacey.

The red carpet is ALWAYS important. The big trends this year were 50 Shades of Green! Cleavage! Sparkle! Strapless! Lace!

Five people who passed away this year were given individual tributes, with Robin Williams doing the one for Jonathan Winters, Rob Reiner for All in the Family’s Jean Stapleton, Jane Lynch for Glee‘s Cory Monteith, Michael J. Fox for writer-producer Gary David Goldberg, and Edie Falco getting emotional as she spoke about James Gandolfini.

Possible lawsuit towards Miguel

The billboard music awards are always fun to watch, from the ridiculous speeches (Justin Bieber) to the incredible performances!

This years awards had one performance that stood out (No not Nicki Minaj’s lap dance to Lil Wayne). Breakout artist Miguel had an energizing performance and may have gone over the top.

He tried to jump over a part of the crowd and didn’t quite make it. In fact, he landed on a fan…a fan’s head. After the performance the fan was taken backstage, given an ice pack, and a photo with Miguel.

Well now, the injured fan has been talking to a lawyer and may have suffered brain damage. She has seen a doctor and is waiting for test results to come back, and if they come back showing any evidence of brain injury, there will more than likely be a lawsuit filed against Miguel.

The producers of the Billboard Music Awards are also stepping forward telling TMZ, they did not approve of the crowd jump Miguel did. Miguel asked them before the performance if he could do the jump, producers said no, but Miguel did it anyway.

This all seems very bad for Miguel! Good luck on both sides!

4. Salma Hayek and Paul Rudd’s teleprompter mishap…watch Salma’s face

3. Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell present an award…it’s basically an SNL skit (love it)

2. Tina Fey and Amy Pohler lost in their category so they resorted to drinking…with Glenn Close =)

1. Probably the most talked about part of the night. Jodi Foster’s acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award. She came out … well kinda … saying she already told people about her sexuality years ago. She also called for privacy and retiring from movie making.

The ladies are taking over 2013

It’s no secret Britney Spears is still as amazing as ever! She went on tour a few years back and stayed busy with the X Factor this past season. And now rumor has it she is working on ANOTHER album! I am beyond excited to hear what she has in store for us next. I mean we already love her duo with Will.I.Am. Scream and Shout! I just hope she does another tour!!

Even though Beyonce is still a new mother her drive to work has stayed the same. She will be performing the half time show for the Superbowl this year and we can’t wait to see what she has in store! BUT Beyonce has also been seen in the studio! So far we know Beyonce has worked with Ne-yo but we have no idea what her next album is about! Can’t wait to hear it!

Lady Gaga is getting ready for 2013 with her next album ARTPOP. We all love Gaga’s crazy sense of style and catch it in her music. Reports say she is giving up marijuana for the recording of this album so we will see more of the REAL Gaga. ARTPOP is said to drop later this year.
