Over the weekend it was no question which movie would come out of top and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, did just that! Although it failed to take the crown for biggest opening of the year from Iron Man 3, it did have the fourth-best opening ever, after The Avengers’ $207 million, Iron Man 3 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II’s $169 million.

Two movies premiered this past weekend and neither one of them made it to the top 3 on the box office…not even the top 5!! Killing them Softly with Brad Pitt fell to number 7 and The new thriller The Collection went down to number 10. But you Twilighters kept the final Chapter of the Twilight Saga going strong for 3 weeks!
